In this post we’ll do a basic walk-through.
After logging in, you’ll be redirected to the trading dashboard.
You’ll see the following elements:
• The BTCUSD Chart (you can select a different trading pair in the top bar, by clicking on the arrow next to BTCUSD)
• The order book with open standing orders.
You can create a new limit, market, or stop order and select the leverage you’d like to use. Simply fill in your position size at ‘quantity’ and the (limit) price you’d like to buy or sell contracts at. You can take either a long (bullish) position or a short (bearish) position.
A limit buy order enables you to buy or sell contracts for the minimum or maximum price you select. For example, you could place a limit buy order at 11013 USD here and your buy order would be placed between all the other open standing orders in the order book. Once filled, you will have purchased contracts for a price of 11013 USD.
A market order will purchase contracts for you at the best available price. Meaning it would buy up open standing orders from the order book.
A stop order is used to buy or sell contracts at the market price once it has traded at or through your selected price. This is used by traders to purchase contracts after a breakout (anticipating a further decrease when going short, or a further increase when going long), or to manage risk by getting out of a position may you be at a certain loss level.
• By scrolling down a little, you can also see the current funding rate, trading details and recent trades.
And in the bottom left corner you can spot your positions, orders, etc.
The trading dashboard is most likely where you’ll spend most of your time. However, in order to start trading you’ll have to fund your account. You can do so in just a few easy steps by clicking on ‘Wallet’ in the top right corner.
In your wallet, you will be able to make deposits and withdrawals, by clicking one of the two but-tons. Currently, deposits can be made in Bitcoin (BTC).
Security is of great importance, therefore we recommend our users to enable 2FA security on their account. As shown in the above screenshot, you can do so by selecting ‘Security (2FA)’ in the menu on the left. This will add another layer of security for your account, to protect you from any-one trying to get access to your funds.
Last but not least, if you wish to see your order history, select ‘Orders’ in the top right corner and you will be redirected to your order / trade history.
• This can be filtered by dates and / or trading pairs.
